For decades, the King County Library System (KCLS), WA, has earned a reputation as a model for libraries throughout the nation and the world. It’s not surprise that it has won the Gale/Library Journal Library of the Year Award
at 2011—and a banner year it was. KCLS consists of 48 branches, Traveling Library Center, ABC Express Vans, mobile TechLab, and a service center located in Issaquah that houses the library's administrative offices. Located
